About Us
Partnerships for Technology Access (PTA) is an innovative global initiative that makes technology solutions affordable and relevant for underserved citizens and small business owners through public-private partnerships and micro-financing anchored in existing in-country government programs worldwide. PTA expands market opportunities by working with governments to overcome barriers to PC ownership in groups lacking digital skills and access to PCs. PTA draws on the expertise of governments, technology partners, and financial institutions to craft software solutions that meet citizen needs, invigorate markets and help achieve public policy goals. PTA partnerships contribute directly to social and economic opportunity by advancing government priorities in public health, education, new world of government, entrepreneurship, workforce competitiveness, gender, senior citizens and connected homes.
